Course title: Standard First Aid/CPR/AED
Description: This class prepares employees to cope with emergencies and provide appropriate first aid until definitive help arrives. Main topics will include Adult CPR, rescue breathing, choking, severe bleeding, wounds, shock, poisoning, burns, bandaging and splinting, use of an AED. Please wear comfortable clothes/shoes for practical exercises.
To teach the most current first aid/CPR/AED techniques under the National Safety Council and/or American Red Cross requirements depending on the Class you are enrolled in.
Target Audience:
All USGS employees who want to learn standard first aid, or whose position requires them to be certified in adult CPR and/or standard first aid.
