This is the UDT that will verify that the learner viewed NOAA's online laboratory safety course.

Objectives:

At the end of this module, you will be able to:

  • Describe the hazards that personnel may encounter during field operations at laboratories.
  • Describe general safety practices and precautions to be taken to minimize exposure to hazardous substances.
  • Identify the personal protective equipment that may be necessary for work in a laboratory environment.
  • Identify the emergency information that field personnel should know prior to working in a laboratory environment.


Audience:

Anyone that uses the laboratory in bldg. 53 on the Denver Federal Center.
