Course title: Water Quality Field Methods Refresher
Description: This course is designed to enhance skills and knowledge in water-quality field techniques for participants who attended the 2-week Field Water-Quality Methods for Groundwater and Surface-Water course QW1028 sometime in the past and to provide information on current technology and methods for participants who may be involved in program development (managers, project chief, science center quality specialists). The course focuses on hands-on application of current protocols for groundwater and surface-water sample collection and processing. Current and emerging microbiological methods and other topical water-quality sampling and processing methods will be discussed.
Target Audience / Prerequisite:
The intended audience is field personnel who have attended the “Field Water-Quality Methods for Groundwater and Surface Water” course QW1028 training course three or more years ago, managers, project chief, and water-quality specialists.
