Can data from The National Map be used in mobile applications?

Data from The National Map (TNM) can be used in mobile applications through the usage of MOBAC, the Mobile Atlas Creator. MOBAC is a desktop (not mobile) application that will build local map caches of USGS TNM data for handheld devices, such as mobile Android phones, iPhones (iOS), and GPS. It works with the AlpineQuest, OruxMaps, and TerraGo Edge applications for Android, the Galileo Offline Maps and TerraGo Edge applications for iPhone, and custom maps for Gaia GPS.

TerraGo Edge and Avenza Maps can also be used to access TNM GeoPDF products, including US Topo, in mobile applications. See video on usage of TerraGo Edge.
