The LandCarbon site allows you to view and download the primary data that has been developed by the USGS team in a variety of formats. Visualize data products, view and interact with maps, charts, and statistics that summarize the results of the USGS assessment.
The Great Dismal Swamp Project
The Great Dismal Swamp (GDS) project is an application of USGS LandCarbon, at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge (NWR), and is designed to produce local-scale carbon estimates (including fluxes, ecosystem balance, and long-term sequestration rate) to include in an ecosystem service assessment in support of Department of Interior (DOI) land management activities.
The Nisqually River Delta Carbon Project
The Nisqually River Delta Carbon project is an application of USGS Land Carbon Program and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service at the Nisqually Delta, where the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge (NNWR) and the Nisqually Indian Tribe (Tribe) completed the largest wetland restoration project to date in the Pacific Northwest.
